Overview:

We are seeking a team of experienced and detail oriented Housekeepers to support a UHNW private household during their summer residence in the UK. This is a hands on role requiring exceptional standards, discretion, and a proactive approach to maintaining beautifully presented homes across two properties in London and Surrey.

The ideal candidates will have prior experience within private households, luxury hospitality, or yachting environments, and be confident working as part of a larger, well-structured household team. Flexibility to move between properties and adapt to a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all areas of both residences are maintained to impeccable standards on a daily basis
• Carry out all general housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing
• Maintain all bedrooms to a high standard, ensuring they are clean, organised, and guest ready
• Clean and maintain all bathrooms and guest facilities, ensuring excellent hygiene standards at all times
• Manage laundry for clothing, linens, and household items, including ironing and delicate garment care
• Ensure proper care, handling, and storage of garments, fabrics, and wardrobe items
• Organise and maintain wardrobes, ensuring clothing is neatly stored and easily accessible
• Prepare guest rooms and communal areas ahead of arrivals and during visits
• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, maintaining stock levels and reporting requirements
• Maintain and care for all housekeeping equipment, reporting any faults
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or items requiring attention
• Handle all furnishings, fixtures, and personal items with care and discretion
• Work collaboratively with the House Manager and wider household team
• Support additional household duties as required
• Maintain discretion and respect for the principals’ privacy at all times
• Ensure high standards are consistently upheld during busy or high-occupancy periods

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience within a private household, UHNW environment, luxury hospitality, or yachting
• Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Strong housekeeping and laundry skills, including garment care
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work proactively
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
• Must have own accommodation and reliable transport
• Available for the full duration of the contract (April/May to September/October)
